Ambiguous Flesh Mound #2
NOTE FROM THE ARTIST
"Women’s bodies in art are, generally, completely void of humanity and denied any kind of personhood. The ‘female nude’ may as well be included in GCSE still life classes with the amount of selfhood given to the woman who is subject of the painting. My ‘Ambiguous Flesh mounds’ are intended as a gross exaggeration of this treatment of the naked woman in painting, as if an AI was fed images of commended high art pornography and tried to produce its own version. Void of any distinguishable features and yet undeniably ‘woman’ (in the most basic, sexual and archaic definition of the word.)"
