Slow Wave is the artistic outlet for the ADHD brain of artist and Shiver founder, Annabelle Byrne. Originally from the Isle of Man, she moved to London in 2010 and called London home ever since. Annabelle struggled with ADHD her whole life, but didn’t know until being diagnosed at 31 years old. Prior to this, Annabelle attributed her relentless drive and struggle to grow Shiver and create viable career paths for artists - including herself - solely to her working class roots. However, she's since recognised that many of the universal challenges artists face in pursuit of their passion, especially earning a sustainable living, stem from being neurodivergent.
