DREAMSCAPE

In the liminal space between waking and sleeping, between memory and imagination, art finds its most ethereal form. The Dreamscape exhibition invites you into a world where reality dissolves at the edges, where familiar landscapes transform into something otherworldly, and where the boundaries of consciousness become the canvas for creative exploration.

This carefully curated collection of limited edition prints captures the essence of our most vivid dreams and quiet reveries. From mystical light paintings to serene escapist visions, each piece offers a portal into alternate realities that exist within our minds. Whether drawn to abstract expressions of emotion or detailed illustrations of imagined worlds, these works speak to our universal desire to transcend the everyday and touch something magical.

Step into Slow Wave's 'Star Aura', where cosmic gradients create an almost abstract meditation on colour and light, bringing mystical energy to any space. Sara Hoque's 'Growth' recaptures the wonder of childhood through vibrant collage, blurring the lines between reality and dreams with unbounded forms that celebrate nature's beauty. Esme Rose Marsh presents two contrasting journeys: 'Fluorite Alright', a powerful response to environmental destruction captured through photography from Hong Kong, and 'Travel The Earth', an introspective exploration of internal journeys that need no passport or plane ticket.

Alecks 'themilkape' Ayling offers glimpses into isolation and intimacy through light manipulation. 'p u c k e r u p u r e k c u p' transforms simple light painting into neon-bright lips, while 'cabinfever' captures the disorienting blend of time and emotion experienced during periods of confinement. Tamsin Wilson's oil paintings explore the phases of matter itself - 'Nova' channels the transient nature of smoke and light, while 'Torrent' immortalises the alien beauty of Italy's calcified waterfalls, frozen in time despite blazing heat.

For those seeking pure escapism, Tasha Emilie x Peachi Prints' 'Pink Island Balcony' offers a dreamy retreat into wanderlust and warmth, while Sophie Zurybida presents doorways to hope and tranquility through 'PASTEL DREAM DOOR 3' and 'LAKESIDE' - spaces of refuge from daily pressures. Elisa Grasso's 'Picnic with a View' transforms a simple still life into a peaceful landscape of solitude and possibility, balancing the need for escape with bright optimism for the future.

Each artwork in this exhibition exists in limited editions ranging from intimate runs of just a few pieces to more accessible collections, ensuring that these dreamscapes can find their way into homes while maintaining their precious, finite nature. These aren't just prints - they're invitations to pause, to dream, and to remember that sometimes the most profound journeys happen without ever leaving your chair.

By choosing a piece from Dreamscape, you're not just acquiring art - you're claiming a piece of reverie, a reminder that in a world that often feels too concrete, too rushed, too real, there's always space for wonder, for magic, and for the quiet courage to dream.

Featuring works by Slow Wave, Sara Hoque, Esme Rose Marsh, Alecks 'themilkape' Ayling, Tamsin Wilson, Tasha Emilie x Peachi Prints, Sophie Zurybida, and Elisa Grasso.

Star Aura by Slow Wave

"I love how the colours and gradients have turned out in this piece. I wanted to create something colourful and almost abstract, but with a soft, warm and magical vibe to it.

This is a piece that I think would work at any size, whether blown up big or small, it brings a touch of mysticality to any space, without being too on the nose."

Mixed media collage and acrylic paint artwork showing a pastel gradient in the background with strokes of brightly coloured paint and collaged leaves and a birds eye photo of a coastline.

Growth by Sara Hoque

"A collage aiming to capture the natural beauty and wonder which we experience in nature. As a young child we experience these moments frequently; a privilege we often outgrow. I enjoy blurring the lines between reality and dreams by mixing familiar imagery with vivid colours and unbounded forms."

Collage art print by Esme Rose Marsh, featuring blue/green crystals, rocks, black and white chequered flooring, a bus, chinese lanterns, a large flack block and a roaring bear.

Fluorite Alright by Esme Rose Marsh

"Fluorite Alright was created in response to effects that deforestation and the wider carbon footprint of mankind are having on our wildlife, featuring photographs I captured in Hong Kong in 2016."

Collage art print by Esme Rose Marsh, featuring torn blue and coral paper, photos of the sea, ice glaciers, cacti in the desert and pink and blue crystals. Image has a drop shadow to highlight that it’s a print.

Travel The Earth by Esme Rose Marsh

"I need not an aeroplane of strangers and a hotel room’s dodgy air-con to bring the four corners of my mind to the surface. I form cultures of my own from my soul and travel miles in the premise of my own bones.” Travel The Earth is an exploration of what it means to go on a journey without having need to step foot outside of yourself.”

Light painting photography technique showing a hot pink pattern in the middle, that looks like lips and a lime green pattern in the corners.

p u c k e r u p u r e k c u p by Alecks 'themilkape' Ayling

"This was a light painting I did with a pure white light in a very dark room, then I combined it with my love for neon lights and manipulated it to look like lips. This is much simpler than I usually go for, but I guess sometimes less is more!"

Digitally manipulated photography of a person in the middle with a straight face, and then replications of their face around them with a manic smile. This image is predominantly black, neon pink and flashes of neon light blue.

cabinfever by Alecks 'themilkape' Ayling

"This piece came about as a response to a lot of people experiencing cabin fever. The blending of hours into days, no longer knowing what day of the week this is. The subject is actually my wife, who hasn't left the house in roughly three weeks. Time no longer has any meaning, and emotions are hard to describe."

Beautiful, ethereal, abstract oil painting on a small oval canvas. The painting, while abstract, is painted with blue, white and green tones in a way that looks like light rippling gently on the surface of water.

Nova by Tamsin Wilson

“Part of my studio practice is having multiple paintings to work on at the same time, some intentionally more experimental and expressive than others - often working from no reference image. In this piece I was utilising the flow of oil paint, layering colour and texture to create something transient – smoke or mist, or light rippling on the surface of water.” - Part of a series relating to phases of matter – solids, liquids, gases, and others.

An abstract oil painting on a small oval canvas of the calcified waterfall and hot springs at Bagni San Filippo, Italy. Depicting a solid white cascade that resembles snow or ice in form, streaked with peach and pink.

Torrent by Tamsin Wilson

“Painted from a photograph I took at the calcified waterfall and hot springs at Bagni San Filippo, Italy. A solid white cascade that resembles snow or ice in form, streaked with peach and pink. It was one of the strangest places I’ve been, a beautiful alien landscape that looks frozen despite the baking hot sun.” - Part of a series relating to phases of matter – solids, liquids, gases, and others.

Digital painting of a pink island, viewed from a pink balcony with pink and orange flowers. There is a pale blue ocean, pink sky and orange sun.

Pink Island Balcony by Tasha Emilie x Peachi Prints

"A dreamy escape into a pink paradise. I wanted this design to have a serene and still feeling when you look at it, as if you were swept away onto this balcony feeling the heat of the giant sun. My wanderlust for exploring new places and seeing new views definitely contributed to this piece. If I could tell you where it was, I would! I used a block colour style to keep the design simplistic but bold with use of colours."

PASTEL DREAM DOOR 3 by Sophie Zurybida

"A portal of hope. A gentle reassurance that even if you aren’t currently ready to cross through, if you’re currently struggling, the pastel dream door will always be waiting for you."

Digital collage of mixed landscapes, starting with a lake with rocks at the bottom, then a dense forest, then snow topped mountains with a pink/purple circle and a purple sky.

LAKESIDE by Sophie Zurybida

"Where I think of being when the grind of daily life gets too much. No phone signal, no traffic, no judgements."

Digital painting of a pink and white checked picnic blanket, with wine, tomatoes, fruit, plant and candles, set out on a hilly landscape with a house and 2 trees in the distance.

Picnic with a View by Elisa Grasso

"This illustration is my reaction to a photo prompt made by Still Here Still Life, an initiative run by illustrators Zena Kay and Tess Smith-Roberts. The still life prompt caught my eye due to the rich, bright colours and delicious props. I turned the red gingham cloth into a picnic blanket overlooking a quiet, peaceful landscape, topped with an isolated house on a hill. These elements are becoming repetitive symbols in my work, indicating my need for space, solitude and escape, while remaining hopeful about the future through my use of bright and playful colours. In creating this work I experimented with new techniques and styles, looking for an equilibrium between my interest in both analogue and digital methods of image making."
