ST VALENTINE

While roses wilt and chocolates disappear, art endures. Our St Valentine's Exhibition presents a contemporary exploration of love through limited edition prints, photography, and digitally crafted artworks - creating lasting expressions of affection that transform spaces and hearts alike.

This carefully curated collection challenges traditional Valentine's imagery, offering everything from delicate floral art prints to bold statements about modern love. Whether you're searching for romantic wall art, celebrations of queer love, or contemporary floral prints, our artists have created works that speak to love in all its forms.

Highlights include Esme Rose Marsh's mystical "Rose Quartz" collage, drawing on the crystal's legendary power to manifest love, and Jamie Chi's touching "Seasons of Love," capturing authentic queer romance on city streets. For lovers of botanical art, Maia Baniel's "Flower on Red" combines tattoo artistry with canvas work, while Tasha Emilie's "Abstract Stripe Vase" offers a playful, contemporary take on traditional flower arrangements.

Mary-Ann Stuart's provocative series reimagines classical religious artwork with a contemporary twist, while Annabelle Byrne's intimate photographic diptych challenges conventional notions of masculinity and femininity. For those seeking something bold, Slow Wave's 'I think of you every daisy' print merges striking typography with natural imagery, creating a piece that playfully balances bright neon text against classic black and white photography.

Each artwork in this exhibition has been selected not just for its beauty, but for its power to spark conversation and connection. From small editions of 5 to larger runs of 100, these pieces offer collectors at every level the opportunity to own something truly special.

By choosing a piece from our St Valentine's collection, you're not just giving a gift - you're supporting independent artists and choosing a lasting symbol of love that will be treasured for years to come.

Featuring works by Mary-Ann Stuart, Alecks 'themilkape' Ayling, Maia Baniel, Jamie Chi, Annabelle Byrne, Esme Rose Marsh, Tasha Emilie x Peachi Prints, Slow Wave and Sophie Kathleen.

Rose Quartz by Esme Rose Marsh

"Rose Quartz was originally created as a Valentine’s gift to a lover — featuring photography of the stone I used to manifest said lover. Choosing to share what was once an intimate exchange in an attempt to spread the love manifest as far and wide as possible."

Elaine by Esme Rose Marsh

Photograph of a latino man’s neck with white string tied around his body with flowers intertwined, in a dark wooden frame.

water in all states by Annabelle Byrne

“Before lockdown began, my head was swimming with ideas for shoots to do, playing with the ideas of masculinity and femininity, in particular, blurring the lines between the two. Obviously, right now, I have no idea what a post-lockdown world is going to look like, so it could be a while before I am able to bring those shoots to life but I started to think about what I could do to fulfil some of those ideas now. I don’t like the idea of masculinity and femininity being two opposite ends of the spectrum – masculinity being hard and strong and femininity being soft and delicate. I hate the divide between the two. I think they are both at their strongest mixed with the other, when there is no divide between the two at all.

The title of the image comes from the song ‘Half Ladies’ by Christine and the Queens.”

I'm a patient wave by Annabelle Byrne

"Fun fact: the term ‘belly button’ is actually short for and derived from the full title ‘Annabellybutton’ as an Annabelle (a.k.a. Queen of Belly Buttons), it is my duty to impart this wisdom upon others. You are very welcome.

Seasons of Love by Jamie Chi

"I took this photo because I want to show everyone that love is beautiful. Our film celebrates queer people and our desire for a more compassionate world. We believe that diversity makes us better and stronger."

Paper collage of a woman’s figure, using cut out black and red paper on a white background.

Untitled Collage (1) by Mary-Ann Stuart

"My colour-block collages are mostly aesthetic, although the idea came from trying to represent the voiceless, identity-less women in nude paintings. Quite often, the shapes created in these collages go on to be the basis of bigger pieces and paintings. On their own, they are purely aesthetic, but they have the potential to be part of something much bigger."

Light painting photography technique showing a hot pink pattern in the middle, that looks like lips and a lime green pattern in the corners.

p u c k e r u p u r e k c u p by Alecks 'themilkape' Ayling

"This was a light painting I did with a pure white light in a very dark room, then I combined it with my love for neon lights and manipulated it to look like lips. This is much simpler than I usually go for, but I guess sometimes less is more!"

Art print of an acrylic on canvas painting of a multi-tonal red background with a quirky tattoo style flower on top in black, with a wiggly stalk.

Flower on Red by Maia Baniel

"A flower drawn freely onto a colourful red background. The image ties together the two natures of my work- the art I create for tattooing, and the art I create for paper. The colourful background is rooted in colour and mark making and layers, not applicable to tattooing, while the flower is graphic and linear, mirroring the way I create tattoos. The flower has been drawn on with no sketch to fit the canvas the way I would draw the same design on a person to fit them perfectly whilst being unique to them - but there is a juxtaposition in the limitation of the square canvas, as opposed to the canvas of the body, which allows the design to be guided by and contorted with the body."

Abstract Stripe Vase by Tasha Emilie x Peachi Prints

"Within this design I explored combining pattern and colour clashes to create a vivid and happy still life abstract. I love anything spots, and pastel mints and greens clashing with pinks. This design will be sure to add a pop of joy anywhere in the home!"

Black and white photograph of daisies, with neon yellow text overlay saying ‘I think of you every daisy’.

I think of you every daisy by Slow Wave

"I created this piece as I really love the juxtaposition of the neon yellow text on the black and white photograph, as well as the serious feel of black and white photography, combined with a silly pun about daisies. This piece is obviously not super deep, but it feels light and fresh, and art doesn't always have to be dark and serious in order to be considered beautiful."

Digital illustration print by Sophie Kathleen depicting pink and orange leaves and floral patterns with pictures of lesbian couples in love with writing in the centre ‘sapphic love is beautiful’. On an off white background with a drop shadow to highlight that it is an art print.

Sapphic love is beautiful by Sophie Kathleen

"Sapphic love is beautiful is a recent piece that I created to celebrate Lesbian Visibility Week 2022. It encompasses the colours of the Lesbian flag within the shapes and leaves and then diverse couples within the flowers. This illustration is an ode to the softness and power that sapphic relationships have brought into my life. Something that is far too often sexualised deserves space to be seen as the beautiful and expansive love that it can be."
